Meet the band
Susan Munter, Founder
Susan listens for a living. As a veteran of the Boston agency scene, she has worked alongside some of the best and brightest at Digitas, Mullen, PJA and Hill Holiday for brands such as AT&T, American Express (Travel & Financial Advisors), Biogen, EMD/Serono, Genzyme, TE and the US Army. Her work usually includes a combination of customer insights, brand strategy, creative direction and copy writing.
Susan started Branding Band to offer marketing polish to companies often left on the sidelines, such as entrepreneurs over the age of 55, and LGBTQ leaders. On-going coaching to the lead client team is an integral part of the process.
Susan has a BA in art history & psychology from Sarah Lawrence College and an MBA from Simmons College where she graduated summa cum laude and as a Dean's Scholar. She trained with Gerald Zaltman at the Harvard Business School Minds of the Market Lab. Her work has taken her across the US, to Europe, Asia and Latin America.
Mark Field, Creative Director
Mark Field brings more than 25 years of creative leadership experience.with no less than 30 GDUSA awards under his belt. His clients range from small businesses to Fortune 100 companies such as Sears, BankBoston, Polaroid, and IDC.
Mark has crafted award-winning brand experiences across corporate identity, marketing collateral, packaging, trade show materials, and a full range of internet-based media such as websites, social media, and email. He is adept at working with clients from high level concepts through prototyping, on a wide variety of technical platforms. However, Mark is also a big fan of print.
Mark is extremely dedicated to his clients, and believes that the best projects come from a shared commitment to great branding. And as much as Mark enjoys digging in to learn all he can about his clients’ business, he also enjoys teaching his craft. Mark is a gifted and skilled teacher, which is just one of many reasons why clients continue to return to him.
Mark graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.

Because only then can you find the idea that will bring your marketing to life.
For over 20 years Jill has created memorable, effective marketing communications at agencies, as a freelancer, and for her own clients. She’s a versatile art director and brand strategist who addresses every challenge and opportunity with simple, yet unique, solutions.
